Frogsbit is a cute little floating plant that usually grows in coin-like clusters of three or more. Easy to care for and fast growing, it floats on top of the water with its little roots dangling down in the water. Because of this, frogsbit is a water clarifier.

Frogsbit will do well in both sunny and shady locations. It reproduces by branching off a little baby frogbit plant about once per week. It will add a lovely dotted carpet of bright green to any water garden. As a pond enthusiest, I find this particular plant a lot of floating fun!
